Permanent Makeup.
Wake up beautiful every day. Permanent makeup (PMU) is semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing of brows and lips, delivered by our certified PMU artist.
Beautifully done, made to heal naturally.
Our certified PMU artist offers microblading, ombré and powder brows, and combo brows. Whether you want fuller, more defined brows or a soft, polished finish, you'll leave with natural-looking results that complement your features.
Every session begins with a detailed consultation to discuss desired shape, colour, and style. We use premium pigments and precise application techniques matched to your skin tone, facial structure, and the look you're going for, with a follow-up touch-up at 6 to 8 weeks to finalize the heal.

Help your PMU heal beautifully.
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment, both thin the blood and can affect pigment retention.
- Gently blot the treated area with a clean tissue for the first few hours.
- Keep the area clean and dry for the first 7 days, pat, never rub.
- Apply the healing balm we provide as directed, a thin layer 2–3 times a day.
- Don't pick, rub, or scratch while scabbing, let flakes fall off naturally.
- Sleep on your back for the first 5–7 days to avoid friction on the treated area.
- Keep hair, skincare, and makeup off the treated area for the first week.
- Avoid sweating, heavy workouts, saunas, and pools for 10–14 days.
- Keep retinols, AHAs, BHAs, and chemical peels away from the area for 30 days.
- Expect the colour to look 30–50% lighter once fully healed, this is normal.
- Full heal takes 4–6 weeks, results settle during that window.
- Avoid direct sun and use SPF 30+ daily once fully healed.
- Book your 6–8 week touch-up to lock in colour and shape.
Permanent makeup FAQs.
PMU typically lasts 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, sun exposure, skincare routine, and lifestyle. Oilier skin metabolizes pigment faster. Touch-ups every 1–2 years keep the colour and shape fresh.
A topical numbing agent is applied throughout to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure, a tickle, or a light scratch, and the process is well-tolerated by the vast majority of clients.
Three things drive the recommendation: skin type, skin condition (pore size, elasticity, fine lines), and the look you're after.
Microblading uses a hand tool to create fine, feathered hair-like strokes. Best for clients with normal-to-dry skin and firm skin elasticity. Because the strokes are created by tiny incisions, younger clients and those with tighter, smoother skin tend to be the strongest candidates, the hair-like detail heals crisp and stays defined. Typically lasts 1–2 years.
Ombré / powder brows use a machine-shading technique to deposit pigment in a soft gradient, lighter at the bulb, deeper at the tail. Gentler on the skin than microblading, better pigment retention, and heals more evenly on oilier skin and skin with fine lines or laxity. This is why we often lean toward ombré for mature clients, microblading strokes can blur faster on thinner, less elastic skin. Typically lasts 2–3 years.
Combo brows pair feathered microblading at the front of the brow with soft machine shading through the body and tail. Best for clients who want the texture of real hairs plus the solidity of shading, and whose skin supports both techniques well.
Your artist will assess your skin and discuss your goals at consultation before recommending the right technique.
Avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before, both can thin the blood and affect pigment retention. Pause blood-thinning medications only if your doctor says it's safe. Arrive with clean, product-free skin in the treatment area, no brow makeup, no lip colour, no skincare.
PMU heals in three phases. Days 1–3: colour is bold and sharp. Days 4–14: the area scabs and flakes as it heals, don't pick. Days 14–28: the colour may look patchy or faded, this is the "ghosting" phase and it's normal. By week 4–6 the pigment has settled into its true final shade, roughly 30–50% lighter than day 1.
Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, on Accutane within the last 6 months, on blood thinners, has uncontrolled diabetes, is prone to keloid scarring, has active skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, acne) in the treatment area, or is undergoing chemotherapy should wait or skip PMU. Please share medical history at consultation so we can advise you honestly.
Sometimes. It depends on the colour, saturation, shape, and age of your existing PMU. Dark, over-saturated, or significantly misshapen previous work often needs to be laser-lightened before we can work over it. Send a close-up photo ahead of booking, or come in for an in-person consultation so your artist can give you an honest read.
We don't perform PMU on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Hormone changes affect pigment retention and healing, and the service isn't recommended by most cosmetic-tattoo governing bodies during these periods. We're happy to book you in once you're ready.
Yes, temporarily. Fresh PMU reads 30–50% darker and sharper than the healed result because the pigment is sitting in the upper skin while your body integrates it. It softens over 4–6 weeks into the soft, natural finish we're actually aiming for. Trust the heal, not day one.
It can be significantly lightened or removed with laser tattoo removal or saline tattoo removal, both performed outside our studio. That said, most colour and shape preferences can be addressed at the 6–8 week touch-up, so flag anything you're unsure about at that appointment before considering removal.
Once fully healed (around week 4–6), yes. Brow makeup is fine for extra shape or drama on any given day. Avoid all makeup on the treated area during the heal window.
