Training FAQs.
No prior experience is required for Classic Lash Training, it's designed for complete beginners. Volume Lash Training, however, requires a Classic Lash certification first, either from our studio or another reputable academy. Volume builds directly on the isolation and application mechanics taught in the classic course, so students without that foundation can't keep up with the pace of fan-building work.
Classic Lash Training is one full day. Hybrid & Volume Lash Training is a half day, the shorter format works because you already have the isolation and application fundamentals from your classic certification, so we can focus entirely on fan-making and advanced mapping.

Lash trays, professional adhesive, tweezers, eye pads, micro brushes, mascara wands, and other essential tools, everything you need to start taking clients. The Hybrid & Volume kit also includes fine-point volume tweezers.
Hybrid is a blend of classic single lashes and handmade fans, typically a 70/30 mix, that creates texture and soft density without going full volume. Volume is pure fan work, every extension is a handmade fan of 2–6 ultra-light lashes applied to one natural lash. In the Hybrid & Volume course you'll learn fan-making and how to integrate fans with classic lashes, so you leave able to offer both finishes.
At minimum, one mannequin head for drills and one live model for the final supervised application. Classic courses often include a second live model if time allows and you want the reps. Additional practice models can be arranged separately if you'd like more structured time before taking paying clients.

Most new artists spend the first few weeks taking friends or practice-rate clients to build speed and a portfolio before moving to full-price bookings. We can help you plan that ramp.

Depending on whether you're self-employed or employed by a studio, you'll also need either a business number (BN) or a standard employment setup. Some municipalities additionally require a salon or personal-service permit. We cover the basics at the end of the course and can point you to the right resources.
